Meat and poultry sanitiser
Current industrial processes for meat producers mandate strict sanitation of meat, poultry and fish products, to ensure the food we eat is free of harmful bacteria (including for example E.coli). The current products used in these applications are types of Chlorine compounds, such as hypochlorite – a compound that, depending on the specific environment, may actually decompose to poisonous byproducts with devastating effects on the environment. This also contributes to higher costs of our food – because these compounds are very harmful (corrosive) to processing equipment and require an expensive process of effluent treatment.
That is why we developed Aunix – an acid-based sanitiser that is made of natural products, without any harmful byproducts, much less corrosive, and even more effective than traditional sanitisers.
Notes
- Consistent outperformance of PAA + Aunix, even at a lower PAA concertation (save for S.aureus);
- Log reduction scale presented against control counts;
- PAA (160ppm) + Aunix at 1:1000 reached a 2.7x log reduction and 99.67% kill rate;
- Evidence suggest two possible conclusions:
- PAA plus Aunix can achieve better sanitation results at lower corrosivity;
- PAA plus Aunix, at the same corrosivity level, will achieve a higher kill rate and superior reductions overall.
